Nice pictures!

I have an idea--why don't we identify what the critter we're taking pictures of is? Like mallard or osprey or chipmunk or gray squirrel (and double points for getting shots of endangered animals)?

Southwest of Calgary, Highway 66 heading to Forget-Me-Not Pond which is the end of the road. The highway just opened for the summer season. Banded Peak is in the distance.




The Elbow river which flows through Calgary and is the source for the drinking water for the south half of the city. Spring run-off from the mountains happens in June. The Elbow will be much bigger then, possibly flooding.
