I'm really glad the the city spent money on putting in that turning lane instead of something else like bike lanes.

Well 2020 came and went and this 10s proposal has had no activity. Not sure if the developer has abandoned the project at this point.

Signs of life here. Saw some Stuart Olson trucks and either a construction trailer or sea container on site today.

Yes and parade of dump trucks hauling away soil for pit excavation. Not sure if they are doing 1 or 2 levels of underground parking. The original proposal was for a 10s building but they reduced that to 8s.

Tower crane is now up. Excavation of pit continues with dump trucks coming and going. Appear to have started forming for foundation in NE corner already.

They poured the east half of the L1 level slab. The west half is being prepared with steel rebar and should be poured soon. They are moving fast with this site.

Still have not setup the 2nd floor slab forms on the west side of building. Oddly enough they have a few more of the 2nd floor walls and posts poured on the east side.

Finally poured the 2nd floor slab on the west end of building. Have around 40% of the 2nd floor walls and posts poured on the east side now.
