[QUOTE=jammer139;7751142]So the plan is for two 24s towers on a 3 story podium with commercial space? Any drawings out yet?[/QUOTE
I have been curious too, does anyone know how the community consultation went?

Consultation was well attended by over 60 residents and curious observers attending. It was an informal drop in meeting attended by the proponents, architect and the planning consultant. Questions were asked and answered. Renderings will be public shortly.
Thank you for keeping us up to date Roger - I think a development like this will mean good things for that neighborhood. Looking forward to seeing what is being proposed.

Roger please tell us they are not concrete twins but that there has been some thought towards the design. Also it would be nice for you to jump on board the rapid transit push. K/W will have their trains rolling through town soon and we need to take action asap. It will be short term pain for long term gain.
I'm super curious about this project. Used to live by there for years, and my brother still does. I'm super pissed that they skipped the rail as that would have helped his area, and his house value. But this seems like it may as well?
It's now Oct and there hasn't been any updates on this proposal. Meanwhile more activity in the Western Fair District with the Market building being sold.
holy shit this area of Dundas is getting a lot of work done it looks like... could have 5 towers in a few years. Thats phenomenal! hopefully the area gets some help and not shifted to another area of town.
great catch for that part of town. A major sub-skyline rising in the east...

600 units is a BIG development and I like it's street presence and interaction.
I have always thought Old East was a gem in the rough and the city has done a good job or promoting the area over the years and it is finally paying dividends.
This is almost exactly the development that was intended along the rapid routes. I was surprised by the height and density of this proposal, but nevertheless, it will function as intended and will act as a benchmark for future transit oriented development in London.
An added plus is the facade along Dundas, really respecting and adding to the feel and culture of the area. I'm excited for more developments of this scale along the routes being proposed.
I've always been told that you need people living in an area to make the place more lively, and this adds a ton of people to an area that is loaded with potential already!
Filling this lot will do wonders for connecting the main Adelaide to Rectory strip of Dundas, to the Queens Park / Western Fair Market area to the east.
I love when a significant hole in a corridor is is filled like this. It's almost as significant as the new Shoppers at Richmond and Carling. That had a profound effect on the southern part of Richmond row.
Get another development like these towers on the Embassy lot and walking Dundas from Adelaide to the Fair is a much more pleasant experience.
