São Paulo reminds me a mix of NYC, L.A. and Tokyo.
These lush upscale residential neighbourhoods in São Paulo were planned decades ago for the city´s elites by an english company named "Cia City", with large terrains with big houses and leafy streets and restrictions for commercial and taller buildings.
More of the beautiful Cesar Pelli twin towers and the JK Iguatemi Complex
This tallest tower in Jk Iguatemi complex is the brazilian headquarters of the Spanish bank Santander, one of the largest banks in Western Europe. Brazil has a large spanish (from Spain, may I be clear, community and spanish companies, although the only official language of entire Brazil is portuguese.
The beautiful Jk Iguatemi mall
Modern buildings alongside Marginal Pinheiros Expressway
The Marriott Hotel
Another fancy store in Jardins neighbourhood
New apartment buildings in Vila Nova Conceição neighbourhood
Modern private owned highways link the city of São Paulo to the nearest beaches on the coast of the state of São Paulo (both the state and the capital city have the same name).
