Many also typically get the Bronx-Whitestone, Throgs Neck, and Verrazano confused for all the same one. I've also had people confuse the Bayonne Bridge for the Hellgate. All in all I never take for granted the bridges of New York City.

Outside of skyscrapers, the bridges are probably my favorite thing about the city. Not just for the variety, but for the way the city is "tied" together. Riding around the city at night, you can catch glimpses of one bridge or another, and they all seem to sparkle.
