I love the subtlety of BP; one of my favourite towers.

Stop always thinking you're a victim of trolling. It's confusing your perception and makes you look (no me) sad and pathetic to everyone on SSP. (should you even care)

I don't believe this is the final lighting but, I just don't know. I have to consider it may well be and it sucks ass and is far from fine for what we were all promised by Brookfield (which is my opinion that disagrees with yours so deal with it) It's not that difficult.

Its right across the street from BCE Place/Brookfield Place as well as King West. But there is no high rise in St. Lawrence Market, so it will always appear like its on its own.

It'll be on its own for some time. There are a few spots around it that could see high rise redevelopment. 55 Yonge comes to mind. It's a lower class building occupied by CIBC. I could see redevelopment tabled if CIBC moves out in a few years, tech speculation takes a blow causing office vacancies to balloon a bit and, residential investment keeps chugging along.

With Bay Park - surely they'd be leaving for there?

Would there be shadowing issues on Berczy if 33 Yonge went tall?

Only late in the afternoon and only if they built on the NE corner... also, 88 Scott would cast almost an identical shadow...

Great update itom! Interesting to see the floor plate shift on the JW Marriott.

Also....man Ten York is getting tall, likely around 50+ floors by now.

The bigger hurdle is 33 Yonge is worth too much.

88 Scott is turning out OK in the end. Nothing fancy or having a "wow factor" but it makes a welcome change from the common blue/green glass box. Looking from east of the downtown core, too, it works well with the background skyscrapers.

I agree with Dr Nest. It's not something that really makes you surprised in it's design or construction, but it looks well in some angles and it has a good progression in materials and detailing. It doesn't look that great at the top, and in some angles when it's looking alone it feels a bit iffy, but overall it's alright.

I think I'd be more happy seeing the L tower lose it's crane. I really don't see what's so exciting about that tower anymore.
