I am loving all of the sea island stations. Also, i don't think the gap at the top of the wall will be too much of a problem at the stations. All of the Expo & Millennium Line stations are open above the tracks and that does not cause too much rain to fall on the platforms.
It should not be a problem for it is a terminus station with no potential for future extensions (Where would you extend to?). The end of the Richmond section however is not clever for if you were to extend further south you would need to replace that single track section with a double. So YVR single track = good, Richmond sing track = dumb.
I don't like the bulky tubular steel supports around the escalators there. I don't like them on the bridge in SEFC either. To make matters worse, they'll probably develop orange rust streaks

they can always double it after that station if need be not a huge problem
I wish people would reserve their negative visual comments until after the final item is presented, the bulky white tubes around the escalator look silly now but i think they will look nice once the glass is in place, as it is shown in the render. They also will probably not rust quickly since they will be sheltered from the elements, and if they do you can always re-paint them another color.
I do, so count me as one. The plain silver is too depressing, we see enough grey in Vancouver as it is, this is why i would never buy a white, silver or black car. That being said i would personally like to *tweek the design, but i favor it over nothing. It personalizes it more for the city, which i like. I also think it will look better when the advertisements are on the side, giving it more balance.
