^^^ Thanks for posting the Mercedes-Benz Stadium pics. It's looking good but, man, it appears they have a ton of work to do for this to open in August.

Edit: that Falcon statue is awesome.

They were cranking it out, but yes, they have a lot more work to do. The hard finish date is Aug 8, to prepare everyone for the first game on Aug. 26. Aside from a few panels left on the moving roof, everything else is just finish. Floors, seats, field, etc.

The stadium is absolutely tremendous, and is something that Atlanta will feel proud of for some time to come.

There will be a chrome soccer ball on the opposite entrance, but I don't think anything will compare to the Falcon!

Yeah I think it'll be ready. The field doesn't take long at all.

That interior shot looked kind of unfinished too, but I'm sure the hard-working crews will get it done.

Yeah, it's going to be difficult for the soccer side to compete with the mighty Falcon

Sucks that this falls outside of the Midtown DRC zoning outlay which means it's likely going to be approved in it's current state. Absolutely appalling parking deck and the street engagement is atrocious as well.

That parking deck is HULKING, and there's no attempt to blend it in at all. Boo on that for sure. Loews and 1075 Peachtree Parking Deck isn't even that big, I don't believe. How many spots do they really need??? Tower isn't bad, and it's definitely a MASSIVE improvement for that intersection. But yeah, parking deck design gotta go.

Oh, and "Midtown, ALT" on the main landing page.

Thanks for posting.. this project looks great, and love the street level retail presence. Great addition to Atlanta if this goes through.. The tower seems to be about 40 floors..

Of course the parking deck is going to be massive. You are looking at +/- 40 story tower with 2 hotels, senior housing, 60K medical office and 27K of retail.

If they want investors, they may want to spell ATL correctly.

This has to be the most unique mixed - use I've ever heard of. Hotel / Medical Office / Senior housing. Weird!
