Seems like a lot of work for something that isn't going to be that visible

Officedweller can see it. It's all for him.

not to mention the forever visible satellite view when people google the address or use bing maps or apple maps. many millions will see the roof through satellite imagery.

you can see here where the Lexus dealership is very easily.

It should be slightly visible from the art gallery north plaza.

That’s very Apple. They have the money to burn as well.

By me today.
Not sure why the limestone (?) stone wall looks all shadowy in the pic.

thanks for the continuous updates on this project. i like the architecture of Apple Stores and this reminds me of them even if it isn't an Apple Store.

Officedweller, thanks for the steady drumbeat of top-down update photos. Any chance you could take a ground-level shot when there's a convenient opportunity? I'm keen to see the green wall face-on.

Thanks very much, McMinsen. The green wall looks good. I imagine that they hired the company that did the green wall at YVR that seems to have defied the odds and thrived (at least based on the last time I saw it).

Wow! That green wall is going to be striking behind the pure glass store. Can't wait till this (finally) opens.

Mismatched ugliness I see here at this corner of the mall. When completed, I can envision a huge TV placed on top a home entertainment display cabinet containing a DVD, Laser Disc or VHS player, with a moldy wall as a backdrop.

Thanks!

PS - the YVR green wall has had solid panels added to it to reduce the amount of plantings.

Personally, I would just as well see vines grow up the walls, where you only have to water the base.

and one of the roof by me today.

Look at the steps around the project - hope they don't have the problems that Deloitte Summit had!

Pretty much the exact same as that. That one looks like it has doors that slide open while the Vancouver one will just have regular doors? And there's a mezzanine.
