Awesome news! This seems like a great use for the old Provo High campus to tie to to Utah Valley Hospital.

Los Hermanos Preservation and Redevelopment 69,71 Center Provo

The historical building burned in February 2019 leaving an unstable hollowed shell. A new life for the building has been proposed preserving the historical facades and adding a stepped back new apartment building above.

Art Lofts 890S State Street Orem

A controversial development on a vacant lot on Orem's State Street Strip finally gets approved after fighting an uphill lawsuit against the condescending city and countless NIMBYS.

The attitude of the city and citizens and the complete reversal of The State Street Master Plan has made developers and investors second guess Orem.

Here is the downsized version originally 6 stories what was to be a true mixed-use development that would have set the standard in Orem....instead we get this, which is better than a dirt lot.

And before downtown Provo for that matter lol, unless you count the hospital as downtown.

23 floors is huge for that area. That would be the tallest in the state outside of salt lake, right? I would love to see it happen honestly. We need to keep building dense next to our transit options, especially our trains. Could be a good example for the rest of the state if it pans out

Is a new multi-purpose nature center in the future for Utah Lake?

Quote:
A crowning achievement for Utah Lake supporters would be the construction of a nature center next to the Lindon harbor.

Curtis has already secured $5 million in funding for the center, and proponents are hoping for another $15 million in one-time funding from the state Legislature to get the project underway by this fall. Another $2.3 million is being requested in ongoing funding from lawmakers.
Potentially a new nature center with UVU at the Lindon marina in Vineyard. Obviously focused around environmental issues, but the article suggests they are trying to turn this into the new main entry point/harbor for Utah Lake. It seems like a great spot given proximity to UVU's new campus and Utah City

I have no idea if this a rendering of the center but I would assume so as it is from the same event:
