That's a good thing. The point was on design. A "world class" train station GTA commuters bled over for many, many years with two tacked on platforms.

ONE 77 - 32 FLOORS

We're still waiting on installation of the iconic balconies on Halifax's new tallest building.

Looks great - but I’m confused.. aren’t those the balconies? Or do you mean the railings/glass still needs to be installed?

^Yep the glass railings for the balconies. Sorry long week at work so my brain is fried.

The balcony railings will mimic the appearance of ocean waves.

Is a slab a balcony? I think not. It takes a slab and a railing to be a balcony.

A high quality wavy balcony point tower on a boring ass afterthought podium.

Where is the sidewalk? At street level or on top of the wall?

A few projects going up in Vancouver's westside seen from a friend's balcony.

Sen̓áḵw (Squamish Nation) | 11 Towers | 171m | 58fl

Oakridge Park | 13 Towers | 154m | 52fl | 5M sqft

Broadway & Alma (right side of the picture) is the tallest building going up in that area. It is at the western edge of Vancouver proper, before UBC/Endowment Lands, which is its own thing.

I had no idea Sen̓áḵw was so far advanced already. Looks quite good.

Always appreciate Vancouver updates!

The Sen̓áḵw development. Three towers are currently going up with another eight waiting in the wings.

Amazing how fast things can move when they don't have to navigate through the years long permitting process of a typical project.

A larger reason for the advanced state of construction is that the project's financing is fully backed by the federal government.

I think the biggest reason is there's only one level of underground parking.

Digging holes is hard work!

There's more than one basement level.

There wouldn't be 3 (or 6?) towers under construction. There may not even be one without Federal involvement
