Sandy Shindleman is a POS.

There is value, and it will take a little longer to see the building redeveloped, but it's not like the building has been vacant for years.

In fairness, it hasn't been vacant for years but it certainly has been available for years.

^^^ brilliant!

Shindleman is of course basing his opinion on all the previous heritage conversion projects that Shindico has been involved with... oh wait

Shindico would never be involved in this project regardless of the incentives. It would be nice if the reporters found a developer with more of a background in this sort of work.

That’s gold Bork.

“It would take $50 to $100 million to revive it.”

No sh*t sandy. You could probably fit 400 residential suites in the bay. Same as the Artis tower. Which coincidentally cost between $50 and $100 million.

And the fact that its facade is protected has no bearing on its redevelopment. What, would you tear off the stone and replace it with hardie board? Why would you touch the facade.

Even the article is bogus. Remake plan receives a yawn? Did they unveil a plan? I didn’t hear it.

I can guarantee there will be no yawns when the plan is unveiled.

300 Main was $138 million I believe, and likely risen since

I finally got it. I only knew that was Drake's jacket. No to the Bay, yes to the crappy strip-malls.
