Him and every other player on the team will probably get another 400K bonus even if they don't win the World Series.

The $57,000 is his salary for the regular season after being called up in September to start 3 games. He will be paid for the playoffs and already got $4.5 million as a signing bonus.

You can never count out this team. Still don't want this going to a seventh game. The Dodgers are completely dejected in interviews right now.

Are tickets for game 7 more or less expensive than game 6 tickets? I think there's probably quite a few Torontonians who couldn't get tickets for game 6, but did get tickets for game 7 that want this to go the full 7.

Personally, I want to see it go 7 (as long as the Jays win)

Going the full 7 drastically increases the likelihood that either Vladdy or Shohei tie or break the record of 10 home runs in a single post season, though that could be very difficult for Shohei if the Jays keep intentionally walking him.

I'll always cheer for history, and if this goes the full 7 (and into extra innings), that could make this the longest World Series in history by number of innings, which would be quite amazing to witness.

Tickets are about as pricey right now, with game 6 still underway, as game 6 tickets were just after game 5. Expect them to go up if this game keeps going as it is with LA leading.

I'm sure there are people wishing for a game 7, and they are the ticket re-sellers. There would be exactly zero fans that would actually not wish for the Jays to win the series tonight.

Well, this might end up being the longest world series in history...

Yamamoto has just entered the ballgame.

... and now a sac fly can finish the game... let's go Jays!

Seriously, either team could have won that series.

Well, shit.

This has to be the most evenly matched world series in baseball history. The Blue Jays took us all on a tremendous ride and have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. They could have (should have) won.

I wonder how many players they will lose from this team before the next season begins? The chemistry is incredible. They should keep the team as intact as possible for another run next year.

The Blew Jays choked and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Couldn't get an insurance run in the 8th; based loaded in the 9th with one out and couldn't get a measly fly out and failed in the 11th with a runner in scoring position with 0 outs. It was evident the Dodgers pitching was the difference in this series and Roberts was much better using his bullpen then Schneider.

It's okay.
We'll be back again in 30 years.

Meanwhile Toronto can go back to juggling awful teams like they have, basically my entire life, lol.

Yup, Vancouver can teach 'em a thing or two about losing in style!

In actuality, it's just sad to see another Canadian team fall short of a championship; whether it be the Oilers, Jays, whoever. Most of us support our fellow Canadians moreso than petty regional resentments.

Imagine Toronto cheering for the Vancouver Blue Jay's.
Neither can I.
