An article / ad in the Star Metro Vancouver newspaper stated that the tallest tower would be "over 700ft".

taller than 213M, nice. Hope Concord sees this as an arms race and ups the tallest tower at their metrotown Sears site.

From what I recall with Onni reps mentioning

First 3 towers will have 1,500+ units in total.
Tower one is 51 stories, with Tower 2 (corner of Gilmore / Lougheed) being tallest at 62 stories+, and Tower 3 much lower at 40-45.

So is that a reduction from 64 for the tallest?

Or was the 64 just the official floor count omitting the 4th and 13th floors?

Still would love to see some official schematics / diagrams and actually learn their hights...

There is no omitting floor numbers anymore in Burnaby. So no

Oh yeah you might be right then haha. I didn't realize it was all the way back in 2014 when this was first proposed

Well it says 62 storeys+ ... so there could be a few more floating around.

This one should be going into sales mode this summer. Exciting times.

I hope it does well - I definitely want to see the tall one go up.

To clarify - is the tallest going up first? Or second?

Reliable source: the height of the taller tower is 705 ft.

(could vary +/- a few feet before construction)

So that makes it 214.8 metres tall.

i'm guessing that anything over 700 feet or so in Brentwood is concentrating too much density and cost in one tower in a multi tower development like Gilmore, given the 5 FSR limit. Metrotown (Sears site) on the other hand has a total FSR limit of 11 - 5 residential plus 6 commercial. A 1000 foot tower would be shocking to see in Burnaby, but it wouldn't shock me if it happened. I would imagine it would come in the form of a hotel/residence, as the tallest towers in Vancouver come in this form.

A super tall in Metrotown would be so unreal given Metrotown's topographical location.

The shame of Gilmore going 700ft+ is that its downhill from the Mall site and from SoLo.

I imagine a 700 footer will still top out lower than Mall towers.
