Renaissance and Dream should help a bit, not that they are much taller than PdV C.

If you click on the link it says the photo is from Le Droit archives. I'm trying to make out any differences from what would be present day.

The midrise building right of center frame in the foreground with the the blue on it might be this one?

https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/sho...=250519&page=2

Looks like there is now siding halfway up the building now so it might not be that much of an archive photo.

You can see the crane behind Place de Ville for Relevé. Judging by the leafyness I'd say it was this summer sometime.

Not gonna lie.. I had a fever yesterday.. the foliage never even crossed my mind. I was fixated on the progress of the building

Couple of cellphone pics from today. This view has changed so much and will change a ton more in the next 2-3 years!

Are those taken from the hospital, Auxtown?

Do we have to pay to get up there?

Ya it's from the roof of the parking garage. You can just walk right in and take the stairs to the roof anytime

Maybe one of you with a better camera can try their luck.

From Kiweki Point on Saturday.

The gap between Ottawa and Gatineau is really filling up with the west skyline and Zibi.

Relevé peaking out ever so slightly from very specific angles.

I wonder how visible Renaissance will be from this vantage? Is it so far west/south that it will look shorter than PDV-C?

From that vantage point, I suspect it will be fully hidden by PdV C. Would probably need to be at least 140 meters or so to poke above.
