That's about as classy as you can get for a mesh parking podium fronting I-35. Very nice.

OMG love those murals and the lucky cat! That's what I expect in an Austin Highrise.

It's been reported in the American-Statesman that people have started moving in. Does anyone know for certain if that is actually true? I ask because I cannot find any recorded deeds. Seems unlikely anyone is moving in before closing on their purchase. The other alternative is that they are leasing units, but that seems a little unlikely at this point.

How long does it usually take for a deed to appear online?
It can't be leases without the condo being sold to someone first anyway.

They seem to appear online almost immediately; within day, at least in my (admittedly limited) experience.

I can’t think of a reason the current owner could not lease units out. I’m not saying I believe that is happening, but it could.

I appears that reports of move-ins were... premature...
Here's Vesper construction update from yesterday:

As we approach the final stages of construction, we are pleased to announce that the developer has accepted units through level 37. We are on track to have levels 38 through 41, including the amenity areas on level 41 such as the pool deck and resident's lounge, accepted before the end of May. We can't wait for you to experience the incredible amenities our community has to offer!
Our team has been diligently working on several miscellaneous items that are nearing completion. These include the garage vine screen located on the northeast corner, the back alley murals, and lastly the amenity lighting. Every detail is being carefully considered to ensure your future home exceeds your expectations. We are committed to delivering a space that you will be proud to call home!

Other things notwithstanding (e.g., no commercial space I'm aware of), the amount of effort the Vesper has put into the fit and finish of this building and other "little details" like the murals and landscaping has been pleasantly surprising.

The overall design of the building might be fairly generic IMO, but it seems like this one retains almost all of the things you'd expect (or that were in other developments) value engineered away.

I really like how they covered the parking with the rust colored metal screening that is attractive. It has a design and texture. It can not cost that much more than the flat gray metal sheets with holes shown on the ATX Tower on their site info. ATX Tower's base looks like it will be very 3rd rate by comparison.

I just like that the tower has color. It could've been white and blue like all the others but they did something different and I appreciate it.

Following up on my posts of last week, recorded deeds have started showing up in the county records. So move-ins may actually be taking place. So far, 5 deeds have shown up.

Those exit ramp style hotels and that one low rise apartment building look so out of place now with the taller buildings.
