That and the currency exchange need to be replaced. I really want a nice built up canyon of highrises to the river.

Is there any update on the LED street light replacements? I think the effort begins in earnest this summer, but I was curious if any streets had been changed over yet and how the effect was?

Not that a I've seen but I'd generally expect it to be similar to Regent Street and Singapore in design.

I think it's pretty cool that it's a carbon fiber roof.

I did a search on this address and ran across what appears to be a class assignment for a couple of graduate students at the University of Michigan. It was an interesting read -> Link

Shake Shack and the project above turned out so nicely. Kudos to the developers for maintaining the character of the 'hood.

How did that "Brooklyn Bowl" turn out? I dont even remember which neighborhood that was in? I think the north side? a fancy bowling alley seems like it would be a good development for the Fulton area. if they could get some more restaurants, bars in the area around it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this city needs more virtual golf bars. So much fun. Especially for people like me that suck at golf but dont want to piss people off on an actual golf course.

i agree, for new construction the Shake Shack looks fantastic, even if it is only a 1 story building. i think examples like that are why its so frustrating that so many similar buildings look like complete garbage. its amazing what difference a little effort makes

as far as the Fulton Market building is I wish they had gone with more of a loft-style window with panes that open outward rather than double hung. looks kind of cheap and just dosent quite fit (but its an LG development so not a huge shocker they cheaped out on the details)

Didn't someone say that Brooklyn Bowl backed out and was replaced by Punch Bowl out of Denver? Seems odd anyone would pansy out on such a prime spot.
