He's such a bored, spoiled, baby. Move and live your life old man.

You want to flex them millions? Donate your land and stipulate it go to parkland only.

So many better ways to go about this than to spend money and court time.

He's a loser no matter how much money he has.

More activity on Westcorp's site today with soil testing. The equipment from Water Street by the Park has moved over to Westcorp's site.

This is really exciting. Usually soils testing precedes structural engineering.

Dragon King moved out of there years ago. They are now at the old Ricky’s on the corner of 97 and Banks.

There currently is a great Latin restaurant in the old Dragon King spot.

^Tamm's Mexican restaurant is there now. Great food. Hopefully, they can find somewhere else to go.

This is proposed in Pandosy Village. It would get rid of a strip mall.

Six-storey structure proposed for Kelowna's Pandosy Street

Worman Homes has submitted plans for a six-storey, mixed-use building in Kelowna’s Pandosy Village that would be comprised of mostly commercial space.

The project would be located on the northeast corner of Pandosy Street and Osprey Avenue, which is the current location of Kraze Beauty Lounge and across the street from the Southgate Centre strip mall.

The building would consist of retail space on the ground floor, parking on the second and three floors of office space above that. The top floor would be home to one residential unit and an additional office unit. Parking for the retail units would be available behind the building.

That’s shows how long I have been away… I swear every old haunt of mine is gone.

Nice proposal and good size for the area.

New Castanet article describing the work going on at the Westcorp tower site. Westcorp is conducting pile load testing and says that construction is hopefully set to begin later this year.

Fingers seriously crossed this time, good news is they say no changes have been made to the design.

One residential unit, why?

I'm in a I'll see it if I see it stance. Since their latest delay, a couple of towers were completed and a few more are just about complete, and Water Street in the Park was announced, presold, and started construction.

Watch this interview. Westcorps Operations VP mentions that it was the hotel portion on this project which put it on hold, not the residential side. Makes sense that a bunch of other towers continued to go up, being that they were all residential towers.

Considering Gail was interviewed then this looks like a solid go ahead assuming they get a new permit from city council. Made sense that the pandemic stopped them because travel and tourism was severely affected by the pandemic. Hope it goes through this time. Project looks beautiful and unique from everything else in Kelowna.
