This is an old rendering. 330 is no longer multi-story like that.

The tower is about a quarter its total height and still no steel to be seen. The suspense is driving me crazy.

I think someone in-the-know said June a few pages back.

It feels like the core will be complete before any steel shows up.

It’s not uncommon at all in steel construction, the core must be large enough to not outpaced by the steel, once the steel workers are on site you don’t want them just sitting around waiting for the core to rise.

See CIBC Square going up in Toronto, the core is about 15 floors higher then the steel construction.

Looks like they've raised the form since last week. Looking forward to steel!

Vendome/Bleachers put up new signs on the windows. Maybe they took the awning down for safety reasons lol.

Eh, I'm not worried about the steel. If/when it comes in June, it will be worth the wait by then.

I wonder if the Transit/City is monitoring the Graham closure at Main, and has plans to or would consider closing it to vehicles permanently. I'd really like to see that happen so they can expand the sidewalks there, they're already so cramped and tiny, and it's only going to get busier.

It's not really a big deal to close it IMO, as anyone currently entering the WS parkade from south, west, or east had to come up Fort/St. Mary before – the only people who could come from Main were people coming from the north anyway. Plus, it'll have been close for 3 years when 300 Main is done, without the world ending.

As I've mentioned before I'd also REALLY like to see the city expropriate some frontage on the lots on the north side of Graham to expand sidewalks and shelters before development happens, as well as Medical Arts lot quicky (even though it likely won't happen now). Wonder if they've ever asked Holy Trinity if they could put the shelter on their yard, it's not like it ever gets used.

For Lease signs went up at the Winnipeg Square Scotiabank today. As of this morning, only on the office side, it seems maybe the/some tellers will be staying down there, and offices moving up. They are currently renovating the teller side.

It's kind of a weird set-up right now. They took the signs down for diamond lane on Main at Pioneer. So cars are allowed to be in the curb lane during rush hour, but they can't turn on Graham.. So cars sit there while buses are queued up waiting to turn onto Graham.

I've noticed the buses have started honking at people. The issue with closing Graham to vehicles would be it directs everyone down to St Mary. And Since Graham has been closed, the entire curb lane backs up along Main St from St. Mary through Graham, furthering impacting the buses. People then sit in the next lane over trying to turn in. Maybe adjust the lights at St. Mary to allow more vehicles to get through. Something could be done. And since Earl's potentially will be locating at the corner, closing Graham to cars would create a better street scene.

Were there really that many cars turning onto Graham to get into Winnipeg Square at afternoon rush hour before anyway? It actually seems like they took the diamond lane for that block away to allow more cars to line up, it is a bit odd since you can't cross Portage from that lane. But it does seem to have sped up the second-from-right lane a bit this year, which often gets really backed up when the diamond lane is in effect.

Almost every morning there's cars sitting at the light in the curb lane. It's now not just people turning onto Graham. Since they know the diamond lane is not in effect, people who are typically in that second lane now jump into the curb.

Core appears to be on level 10.

From what I understand the core can go up to 15 floors freestanding.

I want steel yesterday, but I guess that doesn't sound that bad at all.
