Always gotta sit on the left side of the plane when flying in and out of LGA. As often as I’ve done that, and as often as I’ve seen pictures from this vantage point on this website, it always floors me. Not just for the spectacular density within the frame, but for all the parts of New York City that are missing. Only 6-7 million people and spectacular density that stretches for miles and miles. Density that just about every other American city can only manage for a square block or two.
