For Hamilton, this Isn't bad. Materials are decent, and looks to be of the quality you would see in outer Toronto/GTA, which is actually a pretty good standard. Especially opposed to the bottom-of-the-barrel crap we and KWC typically see, where leaving the concrete exposed would probably look better than the usual plastic-like cladding builds end up with. If It's true that the cost to build here is similar to that of Toronto, then this is what I expect of most developments going forward. Nothing more, nothing less. Get it moving!
Edit: I particularly like how it interacts with the street. Better than what it was before by a long shot. It's actually somewhat inviting to have a facade that at first glance appears to be somewhat fine-grained, even if it isn't executed as well as other attempts in Toronto. This render also really shows how great the views of the lake will be, at least if the Design District doesn't fully wrap up beforehand.
