Misericordia is planning a 10 story assisted living centre for the northwest corner of Sherbrook and Wolseley, Their education building sits there currently.

They've partnered with CMHC and expect to begin construction in early 2020.

I actually kind of like that one. Its scale is perfect and it has a funky design. I don't really like some of the finishes they used but the massing is really neat

The scale is nice, but it reminds of a stack of boxes where one of the boxes isn't lined up right. I need straight vertical lines.

Agreed. It's too bad that the new building has to go up on the site of one of the best buildings in the area. Just about aywhere else in West Broadway and this new building would be a huge improvement, but on that site it's only a marginal gain.

Apparently the building needed significant system upgrades that were cost prohibitive given it's current limited use.
