Love the rust and windows giving a warehouse loft aesthetic. Definitely a node to the metal collection facilities to the south. Hopefully somebody will capture a timelapse video of the rust.

Judging from how much has happened now, particularly with all the rain, I'd say ittl be fully rusted in only a few weeks.

The construction cam has a time lapse feature. As long as the camera stays up until it's fully rusted.

Given how quickly the first parts have rusted, I'd say we have about 15 days from when the full facade is up until it's totally rusted.

As of 09/28/2018: A distance pic of Plaza Saltillo, where you can really see how large the development is. Can't wait for it to be finished!

Plaza Saltillo is looking good. But man, that concrete on I-35 is ugly...

Ugly and a very poor use of space

This house on the hill was fixed up and used as offices for the Tyndall Condos project. But now the .18 acre site will be replaced by a multi-family project called the "Lopez Tower".

The site plan:

What is the height limit of that lot? It seems that most of it shouldn't fall into the CVC that affected the condos.

I was wondering if Lopez Tower would ever be built. There's a few residents at the Tyndall who won't have downtown views for long.

No idea if this is a subtle nod to the area or just a trend, but the smooth white brick on the first floor matches the brick at Kealing Middle School. A nice touch either way.

That may be an old rendering of Foundry II. Hsu is the architect so we know it will be spectacular but they recently got an additional 14' of entitlements so they should be adding one more level.
