Pool grandstands for a bit, but moves and votes for it. I guess she sees how the political winds are blowing.

Yep, her last ditch effort to save face so she's not booed out of the main attraction in her home district.

I'm soooo glad she wasted her time, money, and energy fighting against this.
She accomplished.....NOTHING. Well...she did accomplish making an ass of herself and quite a few enemas, er...I mean enemies.

The updated renderings are out. The Statesman has a slide show of several renderings - mostly eating areas.

Looks like it's going to be a pretty chill place.

Seems to have been simplified and dialed down a little bit. No more suites on 3 sides. Looks like they're only on 1 side now. Longer, thinner LED screens on both ends. More gaps between the stands and the roof.

Also, no renderings of the outside. That's disappointing. I was looking forward to those the most.

Any guesses on the stadium sponsor? I say delta but indeed is a good guess. They’ll have a giant sign on the roof on the flight path so both will have value in exposure to business fliers.

I think the sponsor will be a large tech company that is based in Austin. Indeed is a good guess - especially since they have a big presence nearby. Dell is a possibility.

I'd add Samsung to that list.

I know HEB is already on the Cedar Park Arena, any reason why they couldn't or wouldn't want to sponsor this one? HEB - Austin FC Stadium. Has a nice ring to it.

My guess is the sponsor will have a more national presence. HEB's are really only in Texas.
