Looks like two separate cities forming side-by-side. Conrad would have been great to visually connect Rainey with Downtown.

No telling what the future holds for the tree on the lot with Unbarlieveable, but I am certainly glad that the large oak in front of Paseo's (future) restaurant/bar areas is sticking around. Agreed, and it would have been great from the street level as well. There's obviously not much you can do about the existence of the convention center creating a gap between things. But in addition to the Marriott, and Hanover on Brazos, that area between Cesar Chavez and 3rd/4th could certainly still use more life (that doesn't take the form of parking garages and vacant restaurants).

Holey Moley is an artsy indoor mini golf place designed for the 21+ crowd with karaoke rooms, two bars, food, and an outdoor hangout area. Definitely worth checking out. If it last for years then the view of I-35 will go away since will be below grade and I think the park cap will present here too at 4th Street.

It’s also a chain from Australia. Nothing weird about it.
