Regarding the ex-Canada Tower proposal, I agree that the use of brick would be a good addition for the Financial District. Something like the Wijnhavenkwartier in The Hague would be epic. The Dutch know good architecture.

Something to do with the image for 99 Blue Jays Way that's hosted on tobuilt.ca. I don't know what bad can come from loading an image, but I have removed it for now.

I think shorter, inspired versions of 56 Leonard or One57 would fit in nicely with the surroundings and with city hall below...

I prefer Bangkok's Ritz-Carlton to 56 Leonard. Are you suggesting a shorter version because of NPS?

I pray it's got a large office component. Rarely does any pure condo highrise ever turn out as a landmark in Toronto.

ya, the city won't let a super tall happen here, the most we'll probably get is 200m tops. and probably a slanted roof or something to lessen shadows further/

this is actually a really unique location. the views will be as good or better than trump's. whatever is built here will have a HUGE impact on NPS....

I like 88 Scott! I wish Calgary could get 2-3 residential buldings that height. Guardian pretty good. Looks like the floor to ceiling heights are on the short side.... IMO
