I would agree if the picture is from a building, Trump is my guess too.
It could also be from a helicopter....
The zoom wouldn't have to be more than a 25-75 mm lens at most.

For being an office building, BCBS ties in wiht LSE rather well. It, 340, and Aqua make quite the trio.

It's just a guess from an eye-ball, but I'd say they've got about 35 stories or so to reach the top. Slightly over half way up, I'd say.

So to get your rendering: copy and paste the bottom to the top. There ya go!

And now a question for me: How many units are in this thing?!!? Are they apartments or condos? 83 floors is alot of building!

The glass is really sparkling on Aqua, though I haven't spent the time yet to pick the surface apart & figure out exactly what is causing this effect.

In any case, the way in which Aqua's skin is picking up light is very interesting & unexpected (to me, anyway - probably not to S/Gang) and should make the building stand out in the cityscape even when the wave effect isn't visible.

I know some people...

The shots were taken from the very top of trump (about level 87 if I remember correctly. Its really an amazing view from up there. Downtown really opens up and only a few buildings compete for the view.

Hate to interrupt the Aqua jizzfest, but here's a pop quiz about something disturbingly absent from the last month of photos.

Despite being halfway to topping out, no more balconies are visible on Aqua because they terribly(*) mar the otherwise fascinating facade, and:

A) Gang persuaded Lowendberg to delay installation long enough for one set of beautiful photographs to be taken upon topping-out, before the building is messed up forever.

B) they're frantically trying to come up with re-conceived railings or at least find less obtrusive materials or colors, or Gang is lobbying Lowendberg to pay for same.

C) they've all decided usable balconies aren't worth the aesthetic loss, so no railings and of course no outdoor enjoyment either.

D) none of the above; further installation is imminent.

E) any other ideas (or facts known)?

(*) If all railings fully followed the slab edge all around the building, at least the rhythm wouldn't be interrupted. But last month's photos of test railings showed the railings 'terminating' upon reaching thin stretches of the balconies; this should look terrible if carried out up the whole facade.
