I like that idea. When it reaches the top temperature, the crown is illuminated in volcanic fiery colors. So, every day basically.

I think that band around the crown is supposed to light up too. So eventually that strip of lights will look like a big T. T for Texas!

I would like to see that strip of lights used as a New Years Eve countdown, like when the elevator goes up the Tower of the Americas in SA. When the top lights are lit, the fireworks go off from the top of the tower.

I use to think that would be good for the 360 tower back when it was the tallest tower in Austin.

I grew up with one of the KXAN reporters (his mother is the reason I graduated Austin High on time - my mother baked a ton of cakes and louisiana pecan balls to make up for 120 plus unexcused absences - she was able to credit community service hours (1 hour of community service would credit 1 unexcused absence) because she was on the board of a local foundation. Anyway, he's going to help edit some of my footage so it does not look so elementary. I think I had another point to this comment, but my I lost it with my random tangent.

Awesome video. I'll be referring to it when it comes time to model this building.

Looks like they only have railings left on the exterior?

Some photos from a recent hard-hat apartment tour

Absolutely beautiful interior.

Balcony view facing south. They are very proud that their lowest residential level (I think 35th floor) is about the same height as the top of nearby Hanover Republic Square (44 floors) due to the higher ceilings in the office portion.

Balcony view facing north.

Balcony view facing West 6th.

Incredible views! I am NOT a fan of the counter tops and the back splash. Awful! Looks like lightning bolts. The appliances look nice though. And one dinky globe light for the cooking side of the kitchen? Aside from the Bosch appliances, everything else looks suburban apartment cheap. And what...they couldn't move the half empty water bottle out of the picture? Amateurs...

Those are probably quartz striations in the granite and its cool they used them in a pattern. Beige laminate counter tops and flowered tile back splashes may be your thing.

Those slab edges would drive me crazy. Looks like 3 star hotel in Cancun.

What got my attention was the open gap on the balcony area. Wouldn't want to drop anything fairly small or it could fall right off. They should at least have some base screening or something to still let the air pass through.

Gracias, amigo. I am happy to upload another one per your directions should that be more helpful.

Also, I am running out of angles. Any specific requests, from anyone, besides from around I35? The buildings are too far in the distance.

Would love to see something similar on the Republic as it gets taller.

The 6g apartment rental prices are NYC worthy.
I doubt many Texans are going to move in at those exorbitant rates.

Just saw on LinkedIn that there’s a waitlist of 1,400 people wanting to tour the apartments.

That prominent waterfall of rust facing the park is just awful.
