There is construction at the old CB2 space at 1010 peachtree. Any idea?

This development cycle has been probably the best in Atlanta's history, but conspicuously missing has been a major new piece on the skyline. Thankfully, this building will put that to rest.

Their permit has most of the approvals already for land disturbance.

The History Channel is currently airing an episode of Project Impossible that focuses on the construction of Mercedes Benz stadium. Very interesting!

Could someone explain to me what exactly is meant by a "development cycle"?
I'm new to following developments and have heard this term about Atlanta's development cycle used many times in this forum. How long do they typically last? How much time passes in between them?

Because of the nature of real estate it is hard to have a balanced market. Naturally, over supply is going to occur due to the timeline it takes to bring new product to the market. And besides the inefficiencies inherent in the real estate market, the economy itself is cyclical which helps dictate the ebbs and flows of demand for product types.

Workers appeared to be taking down one of the large billboards at the 775 Juniper site this morning.

Southeast Capital Companies website still says this one will get started in 2nd Quarter of 2017.

Just south of the Southside Beltline Trail on Englewood Ave between Boulevard and Hill St. It encompasses most of the area between Boulevard Crossing and Chosewood Parks.

I've been wondering what happened to that project. I like the design (especially the terraces on the back), and I think it scales nicely between the high-rises on Peachtree and the houses on Piedmont. Glad to see that it's still in the works!

This was a very nice show with great footage of the stadium construction.

The other projects featured were a supertall in Los Angeles and the revamping of the Bayonne Bridge.
