Ya, they going with only the square columns that essentially look like a small wall. I know we've been through this recently. But there is some type of office/retail going in on the first number of floors. I imagine the 6th floor (with the large ceiling height) is the amenity/lobby/whatever space for the residential. Also look like the elevator core we've been talking about changes at the level as well. All floors above with the smaller ceiling height appear to be the apartment suites.

Meanwhile on the other tower, they're nearing top out. Working on the 16th floor slab now, only two more sets of columns to go before the roof. By end of October she'll be topped out.

I'm a little sad that it's almost at the top. It was fun watching it go up and I wish they could just keep on going. Would have liked to have seen more height to the buildings but it sure will be great to have that cavity of surface parking lot space finally filled in.

They will need to either way.

The first tower is close to capping out, as mentioned on the previous posts, but this second tower that's going has quite the ways to go.

It's like watching your kids grow. You anticipate what they will become but it happens too fast.

They have commitments for 2 tenants to be in by June 1. Scotiabank and I believe TDS as well, so I think soon as the structure is done, and it's close, we'll see the curtain go up at a torrid pace.

Ya they have glass up. I would expect they want the podium enclosed for winter.

I would also expect they will start from the top down with the rest of the glass/curtain wall installation. Since TDS is to be in there for June 2018 in the top 3 floors, they'll want to get that done first.

I tell you...I now know what it must feel like to be bitten by a shark. Searing pain, the feeling sometimes like it is not even there. Thankfully I have a good support system of medical professionals and family and have weekly trauma counseling sessions.

....so in a word....good!

Tinted glass too. That should be more reflective.

Looking forward to seeing where those two enormous curved glass façades focus the mid-day sun.

Hargrave @ Graham closed for the next few days so work can start on foundations for the skywalk from City Place. It makes it a bit of a pain getting in and out of the two City Place parkades.

The streets are back open. Looks like they did the piling work in the sidewalk next to City Place. Edit: You can see the opening from the cam. It's in the sidewalk in front of the CIBC, to the right of the X pattern in the sidewalk. Skywalk looks to be entering City Place through the third concrete panel/opening from the north end.

Also noticed the fins/connection points for the glazing appear to be installed all over the first tower. Every floor has little silver bits spaced apart evenly. Should see that stuff go on rather quick.

Based on the concrete pour going on right now in the residential tower, looks like theres 10 units per floor. Theres some rectangular openings, plumbing etc. I'm counting 10 sets of openings.

Edit: Possibly 12??
