I think this one probably will look the worst of the three, but still pretty good overall. It will look better when the juliette balcony railings are installed, and the flood lights are in.

This look stellar.
Possibly - I just expected the final result to match their render like all the others had. It's always a bit disappointing when you don't get what's advertised.

That's not the latest render you quoted Chron.

Most up to date has six floors, the one you referenced has four.

I know - I referenced it because of the details that are more in line with this build vs the ones they changed on the 6 floor one - like the details on the crown molding cornice part - with the 3 hollow boxes look - although it originally had a circle in the middle.

The banister at the top and the cornice topping it off definitely help it to look better - I wonder if the cornice will wrap around the building completely like the renders have shown? I thought that a bit odd as buildings of this style don't USUALLY have it wrap around like that - usually capped as a façade.

I do have a minor complaint - and this is just me being "simon" in a sense and nitpicking - is that the arches have the additional ridge that could have been continued down the pillars to make it look more seamless - as of now it breaks the illusion that it's all one solid piece like the rest of it had - with the cornice below it separating the two it would have been easy to pull off - but that's about it - although the parts above the windows on the sides - I dunno, maybe it just needs to all dry and look more uniform but they stand out a bit - that and the boxes at the top don't really line up - but I am willing to see how it looks once its all cleaned and settled.

Those are just minor traditionalist nitpicks on my part - still looks amazing and of course I'll take it over any ikea builds. I really hope the Juliette balconies are made of a good rust proof or resistant material as I'd hate to see the exterior get stained.. done poorly those types of balconies can make a building look more like a prison. I think having the doors be black will help to offset that though and was a good choice on their part.

after a decade or so once natural dirt starts to stain it a lot of the bevel details should pop a bit more. I must say it IS cool to see an all stone façade go up - aside from the William Thomas build or the King William St one - which weren't completely new or complete respectively, this is the first ALL new completely stone façade built since possibly pre-confederation.

It's not stone, it's precast concrete panels.

I think it looks great for a new build. No complaints from me.

And yeah I know it's precast - but for all visual purposes it's comparable - I went by it today and it actually looks pretty good up close - a few chips here and there from building I am sure they will seal up.

Curious if Core Urban has designs or ownership on the remaining surface lot on this block, what a transformation in such a short period.

It's crazy to see all the missing teeth filled in as full city blocks again.. it'll be great a decade from now when all of these are fully functioning places.

Not gonna lie, Aesthetically compared to the other 2 I am the least excited about this build but happy it is taking up that corner spot at least.

Funny enough, I might be the opposite. I'm hoping this turns out like the rendering because it almost looks at home in the mid-century, and we don't have a lot of that sort of style around at this scale.
