They finally got the concrete sidewalk completed at the corner near the new Jubilee House. Also, a couple pics of the back side now that it's complete.

I noticed that there seemed to be people still moving from the old Jubilee House to the new one.

If you can, snap some pics of the demolition of the old Jubilee House, i wanna see the claw dig into that nasty piece of 80's architecture.

Yes, I certainly will. That's the reason I went by today to see what's going on. It'll be a while yet.

There's fencing all around the old Jubilee House now. I noticed a steady stream of workers removing stoves and fridges.

Oh 80's architecture... these suites must have been dank, dark and depressing. That facade is so of the era, in quality and style. Adios!

Awesome thanks! Glad to see this go, I just hope the replacement grey slab has been tweaked again (for the 4th or 5th time now) The hexagon design was the best one IMO.

It's always interesting to see the temporary open view from different vantage points once a building is gone.

Thanks for the photos, mcminsen! Good to see another ugly building bite the dust.

Is the new development going to be built on that lot formerly occupied by the old Jubilee House? Google maps isn't very clear, but it looks like the only place suitable for the development in that area.

Not much going on yet. In fact, when you look at the previous pic from a month ago, that machine has not budged.

There were fresh muddy tracks on the driveway and a big truck on the road. I think it may have had something to do with drilling or soil testing or whatever.
