Think I read there's going to be 4 or 5 storey of parking before the rest are condos. The parking garage is large because it's for the Staybridge, new Hilton Hotel, condo, etc.

I hope we get to see a lot more heritage podiums. This and Connaught seem to be looking good.

And the Witton lofts.

May the HWDSB trustees see these projects and understand how backward they are.

It shocks me how eager to demolish they are. Sanford School is yet another example of this.

Bigger Renderings

I edited the photos and made them bigger and a bit more clear. I love the design, it seems to interact with the street really good. It looks like there is a patio for the restaurants along Caroline.

Looks great. I wonder about that retail space, though.

To me Caroline St. looks pretty tight to the building, not enough room for patios.

Looks to me as if here's more room along George St. for patios.

Definitely is! Bella Towers has gone up to the 5th floor since my last update. I'll post some more pictures and do another update later this week to show all of the progress that has been made in just a few days

5th floor? Geez. I was down there on Friday night and it was barely above the 2nd.

My photo update from last Wednesday (Feb 20th) above shows it at the 4th floor. Were you looking at it from Main Street where it attaches to the old federal building? It is only at the second floor there because it is built on a hill. It's George Street side is at 5 floors.

The homewood suites actually looks kinda tall when viewed from a small distance (I was down there a little while ago while visiting relatives in the Hamilton/Dundas area), and to think that this building will be 10 floors taller. Can't wait to see this one rise!

Progress

Driving by the hotel today the base levels now have tinted black glass - its looking really awesome! They have made good aesthetic choices on this building for sure! Cant wait to see all of the rest to come!
