Finally got in and selected the nosebleeds for the opening ceremony and I got this..

All available tickets in the quantity you have requested for this session are currently held in other customers’ shopping carts or are in the process of being purchased by other customers.

ARGH!! Only A level tickets still seem to be available..

GeeCee

Try B-Level specifically. They do have them available - or did just a minute ago. Quite a bit of savings and the reality is they are only marginally different than the remaining A-Level seats.

I'm a student - not willing to pay any more than $175 a ticket unfortunately.

I wonder what the odds are of somebody getting in 5 times while others have been waiting for over 3 hours now.

I guess single tickets could still be available for some of the events now listed.

5 times! What? I have yet to get in once, and I'm supposed to be buying them for my whole family. Very envious...

I can't tell whether I'm feeling envious or homicidal.

Sorry, GeeCee, I understand. I had actually just experimented with options once I got in and noted that little quirk.
________________________________

It took me over 2 hours to get through the virtual waiting room, but I managed to get women's final aerial freestyle skiing and opening ceremony tickets (Level B but at about 40 yard line, which seemed better location than Level A tickets it was offering), so I'm tickled beyond belief.

Clearly, although the previous ticket sessions had more overall number of tickets, there must have been more opening and closing ceremony tickets available in this round than the others. There just had to be. I managed to log in during the previous online purchase opportunities in the past year and couldn't pull any up any opening ceremony tickets at all by the time I got in, even though I got in quicker both of those times.

I hope everyone else was able to get in finally.

The ceremony tickets were screwed up. I was being offered 400 level, 300 level, and 200 level tickets for the same price of $1100. I kept refreshing and finally got "proper" A seats, in the 100 level. Some unlucky sap probably bought 400 level tickets that should sell for $175, without noticing, and paid $1100 each. Most of the good hockey is sold out now, mainly only Womens left.

That makes sense. What the chart seems to indicate is that Level C & D are both tiny, tiny strips along the upper upper nosebleed, then level B is a bit wider band still high up though not the extreme peak. Then EVERYTHING else is considered Level A, whether you are on the floor as you are or all the way up on level 4 in the endzone just a handful of rows below from Level D.

I suppose it makes sense but it still seems a bit unfair for the people all paying that much more for Level A tickets that there would be such a disparity of locations.

Mmm, well, they have changed the seating map a bit since the first two phases. There was a story on Global News about some guy getting "Upper Level" tickets for hockey, when Level A was most definitely said to be Lower Level (now they say Lower Level & Upper Level). They showed the two maps and how they had changed it to reflect the first few rows of the Upper Level to be "A" too. Which, I guess, makes sense. Typically the first row of the Upper Level is the most expensive in the arena because you have an unobstructed view. Indeed, I managed to get these tickets for two events today . But, it is a bit of false advertising on their part, considering the price disparity
