It sounds like the CCE will be moving at the end of March:

Quote:
Q: How will the move affect my course in the Winter 2015 Term (Jan – Apr 2015)?
Winter 2015 in-class courses will be held at 50 Main Street East until Sunday, March 22, 2015.
Starting Saturday, March 28, 2015, all in-class courses will be held in the new building at 1 James Street North.
Course instructors will provide information on class format/location for the week of March 23, 2015 - March 27, 2015.
If you are taking an online course, it will be unaffected by the move.

I'm interested to see what Mac has been up to behind all the barriers in Jackson. Should be interesting.

I'm a little disappointed they didn't do much with the exterior of the building. The outside from a distance looks fine, but up close you can see it's not aged super well. Got a glimpse of the inside from the Jackson rooftop though, and it looks pretty stellar.

Renos at Jackson Square look good. It's a shame the outside of the building still looks like shit.

I'm really excited for the renos at 1 James North to finish. Mac has done a hell of a job inside.

Walked past 1 James North last night. Looks very sharp with the interior lights on - really brightens up James St too!

Wilson Hall is shaping up quickly now. You can see where the theatre is located.

Drove by it last week. The building extends out really close to the road at Forsyth and Sterling.

Do you know if it will be connected to MDCL. Either on ground or by pedestrian bridge?

Is that a performance theatre or lecture hall? I haven't been on campus in years.

Update

Here's a link about a new proposed campus downtown as we all know.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilt...ment-1.2928911

Sadly in reading an article about the LRT in the spec recently he mentioned that this bid for a campus downtown was turned and given to another city.
