Your loss. Young and sexy as I am.

Throwing your support behind the unknowable McCain while require vast amounts of confirmation about Obama is disastrous to your health. You should get a check-up. Your double standard muscle is overworked.

J. C. Watts is considering voting for Obama. You are free to hate him now.

Funny thing, I was at a dinner party last night. The Republicans all predicted Obama would win. The lone Democrat predicted a McCain win.

CNN:

Quote:
"Fifty-three percent of registered voters questioned in the poll say they think that Obama, D-Illinois, will win the election, with 43 percent saying that McCain, R-Arizona, will win."

"In recent elections, the public has a good track record at predicting the outcome of presidential elections. Most polls which asked this same question in 2000 and 2004 showed more Americans predicting a victory by George W. Bush over John Kerry or Al Gore. The public also correctly forecast that Bill Clinton would beat Bob Dole in 1996," Holland said.
I don't know. It seems like he has a shot. I'm actually inclined to believe he wont win truthfully. I am just against the notion that he can't win.

The thing about Obama supporters is that they have never really had to entertain the possibility of their candidate losing an overall race. Obama has been ahead in the polls for months and everyone knew he would win the nomination for just as long. I don't know what it feels like to have supported Clinton through the worst after being ahead for a year or to be a McCain supporter now when he is already staring out behind.

Must be depressing. If Obama lost, I think millions of people would all of a sudden lose faith in politics and become quite bitter.

You guys said the same thing about Gore and Kerry. If McCain wins, you'll live with it!

I got a funny video for ya. It is slightly NSFW, so don't watch it while the honey is around.

Oh come on. This is what the forum would be like without moderation and you are taking advantage of it as much as you can.

Cut Fiorenza some slack. He is like 90 and probably wasn't even lucid when he wrote that.

Firoenza, you never knew Obama's policies before you decided you hated him. I bet you can't even tell me what spending programs he wants to cut. I don't hate McCain, I disagree, but then again, I don't know all of his positions. You hate Obama on a primal level....

McCain basically said balancing the budget was impossible and improbable. I want a president who will at least try.

I suggest you read this article. McCain wants to balance the budget by using the word Regan... I'll remind you that under Regan, the deficit tripped.

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2...agans-example/

You can't attack Obama's spending when McCain isn't going to cut anything but taxes (and thus make problems worse). He isn't serious about fixing Social Security, balancing the budget, or environmental issues. I want a president who will actually act, not talk. I refuse a plan that includes, "we'll just do what Regan did" because Regan didn't do any of those things...

When I get a minute I'll post some of the spending proposals Obama has supported and currently supports. The cost will blow your socks off.
