If anything it reminds me of half the buildings in Bulgaria.

Hideous. A hotel that looks like it’s from an office park from the 80’s.

That is bad, we have enough office parks from the 80s already without people building new ones!

How on earth is Winners so popular? From the awful lighting to the constant beeping alarm and loud PA System (CASHIER #4 PLEASE) it reminds me of Bed Bath And Beyond if anything.

The weird part is it’s a hotel that looks like an office building.

Yes that’s odd indeed, reminds me of those lousy Keynote twins in Calgary.

I've shared it before, I will share it again:

Years ago on the bus, I was heading uptown, and we passed the mall which at the time was anchored by a Zellers. And a woman from Ottawa sitting a few rows behind me saw the Zellers and exclaimed "Oh my god! You have a Zellers!! That means you have a Winners!!" and I have never heard anyone so excited about the mere potential of going to Winners as that woman was.

They weren't even owned by the same company???

, How one can get excited by Zellers or Winners is beyond me.

I know, like, I thought my life was boring! She's from Ottawa and she's excited about the Winners in Thunder Bay; what does that say about Ottawa?

There's not much in Ireland. But there's this:

Can’t talk about ugly buildings up there without mentioning The Cube in Birmingham, England.
