Edit: I get it now. Personally, I don't think it's a big deal. There is still a lot of light coming through the punched openings in those shear walls, and whoever the glazing manufacturer is can match the reflectance of the spandrel glass of the exterior during the day, while allowing light from the interior at night to diffuse more widely to mimic the look of the adjacent clear panels. It may not look EXACTLY like the rendering shown, but it may be close. In Viracon I trust.
Also, renderings are done pretty far in advance of a project, even before financing is in place, so design changes are always a possibility, especially for a project this massive and complex. Just go back to page 1 to see what the design originally looked like (yeeeesssshhhh
