We hit 16C yesterday, but it didn't really feel like it with the overcast and wind. I went back to the Toronto Islands today, seeing some friends and some birds. I also spotted some mushrooms, apparently these are decaying/late stage Coprinus comatus specimens.

I honestly can't remember seeing weather this bad in June, ever. The past week has been generally cool and unsettled, but things really did bottom out yesterday (high 14.6C). That said, looks like things will be back on track soon.

I spent the weekend working on the house (powerwash back patio, reshingle shed, etc.) so it was great working weather with highs in the upper teens and low 20's.

Definitely cool for the time of year though. Feels like early May, not mid-June. Looking forward to the warmer temps again now.

At least I'm saving money on the hydro bill by not having to use the AC!

(I was abroad for most of May, but from what I heard it was not great either.)

Some record low temps were set in southern Ontario this morning. The low for my station was 7.2. It was nice here yesterday after it cleared up, with a high of 19.

A big heatwave is on the horizon, will be brutal in the city, but ok closer to the lake. Compare Windsor vs my local forecast

Yep, this year it’s looking that the lion’s share of heat will be in the east.

I didn't even turn my AC on until last week and it only kicked in for one day.
I recall having similar years but I have not seen it cover as much of the country at one time.

We do seem to be getting longer periods of high wind days. Those were usually reserved for the afternoon of hot days. Now we also see t6hunder storms on cold days.

Pretty shitty few days for June. Yesterday only reached a high of 16.

Never mind A/C, I was tempted to turn the heat on yesterday. My body had already acclimatized to the warmer temps!

7 day is nice: 23/28/25/24/28/32

Supposedly getting up to 20 today, but currently just 15 and overcast. Yuck

18C and cloudy. Another crappy one.
EC had their usual drunk forecast for Montreal. Started the day with forecasted 23C with clearing at noon. Once noon arrived, they changed to 21C and clearing later in the afternoon. Once 3PM passed, they changed yet again to clearing this evening. The clearing happened at 8PM so late evening. I was looking at the satellite this morning and told myself this EC forecast is complete BS. If I am able to look at the satellite and determine the clouds won't clear anytime soon, how comes the forecasters can't?
Mistakes happen, will never blame anyone (or robot LOL) for that. Update the forecast during the day and you're good. The fact however, it was changed 3 times and none of those were right confirms my opinion of EC. It is a clownshow.

Low of 12C this morning. It wasn't even clear. Just cloudy and chilly.

The warmspot was Medicine Hat, AB at 29.4C.

Warmest low was Kamloops, BC at 15.2C.

There was some light scattered precipitation overnight and in the morning and then the afternoon was warm, dry, breezy and mostly sunny.

Tuesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 19 C, the low was 13 C.
