22C with a humidex of
25 and a mix between storms and sunshine. The day started with full clear skies before having the first round (most severe one) at around noon. Proper storm with lightning and thunder. Round 2 was around 5PM but that one was much lighter.
Low of
17C last night.
The warmspot was... you guessed it... Kuujjuarapik, QC at
33.9C. They now hold the top 2 warmest temperatures in the country.
Warmest low was Point Pelee, ON at
17.1C.
Interesting phenomena that prevented Kuujjuarapik from recording the first tropical low in the country.
Around midnight, the wind switched from the SE (so from the interior of the province) to W (from frigid Hudson Bay) and as a result temperature fell 7C in one hour.
Then at 4AM, the wind switched to the SE again, and temperature skyrocketed.
