Yeah, we still have Lamar along Shoal Creek for that at least.

They've also opened at least part of the stretch north of MLK now, saw it as I drove by yesterday.

There are places where concrete is used. Particularly bus lanes and a lot of Downtown streets. Concrete is more expensive but lasts longer. It is also more difficult to cut for adding utilities later, so it used more often where complete rebuilding of the street including utilities are done, so the street doesn't need to be cut open for a long time. The problem is that with so much development going on, there are still cuts needed for local utility connections even if the mains were recently replaced.

Gorgeous shot, Urbannizer!

And hey along the very bottom left-hand corner you can see the barriers up along the Waterloo Hotel site.

Did we establish the panels will be painted blue or a blue material will go over it?

I’m glad this area is getting some love and starting to feel cohesive with the rest of downtown. Now it just needs some vibrant restaurants and cafes.

Has this topped out? The uppermost floor looks taller than the rest.

Cladding is also apparently going on, and it looks true to the rendering. Check the photo at the top of the treeline at the bottom right.

They sure seem to be taking their time with the cladding. It doesn't look like much has been added since this photo I posted four weeks ago.

It's not uncommon to do a test fit before taking delivery of the full order.

There's another test sample on the northern side of the site, on the corner of 12th and Sabine.
