Dirt has recently been moved in the lot next to the food trailers.

That's good. Now with SXSW over, hopefully we can see more activity. This is one of my favorite projects in Austin.

There is/was a post on their Facebook page saying they are planning on a May groundbreaking.

Got a text from friends who own a food truck and they said their last night is Saturday as the Food Trailer Park is closing. I'd say that is another indication this project is moving forward.

KEYE has a 4+ minute interview about this project with Sackman JR. (A Barbie & Ken fluff piece if I ever saw one. I think they both got laid afterwards.) But JR mentions that Sackman has five Austin projects planned including another one in the Rainey District and the one on 9th street that we speculated about somewhere a while back.

Any more info on the "micro units on 9th street" project?

KXAN has the story about the food trailers going mobile. They have one week to vacate.

There is also a comment by a Streamline Cycles Rep on CC next to the Waller Park Place site stating that their days are numbered. I'm thinking that number might be a 1,000,000.
