By my count, they're up to 15 floors above the 54' lobby, more than halfway to the top:

Another milestone is that they've matched the height of the neighboring Blue Shield of California Building:

Glass and height:

From the 30s in the Millennium

In person the glass looks really good. I think this will look better than 222 Second.

^Totally agreed, the skin has a really cool texture and great color. This tower is going to be really handsome.

Also from yesterday:

Should this thread be changed to reflect the building at 453' tall?

It's 455' to the crown per the diagram I posted here, which originates from sfplanning.org. Any way you cut it though, 445' is wrong.

Looks like someone already fixed it. Thanks mods!

I'm in complete agreement with you guys on the glass. I like the glass on 222, but I think this is going to be even better. Can't wait to see it with several more levels so we get the full effect of the alternating angles of glass. I also get the sense it will be particularly responsive to light and shadow.

^Great photos!

The Chronicle has an interesting article concerning seismicity and the design of our new crop of skyscrapers. It's well worth checking out, and something we may want to refer other forumers to when they talk nonsense about earthquakes and skyscrapers.

Anyway, the article includes several photos of 350 Mission:

The 350 Mission St. tower will have an unusual undulating glass skin that would not have been allowed under San Francisco's standard building code. Photo: Craig Hudson, The Chronicle

Plywood is hoisted by a crane as construction continues on 350 mission on August 26, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. The building will have a very unusual undulating glass skin with each panel tipping in or out by 7 inches. Photo: Craig Hudson, The Chronicle

Two window panels are seen on the side of 350 mission on August 26, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. The building will have a very unusual undulating glass skin with each panel tipping in or out by 7 inches. Photo: Craig Hudson, The Chronicle

Thanks fflint! The link seems to be broken and I couldn't find the article on SFGate. If you get a chance to post it again, it would be great to check out that article.

That 'undulating glass' is going to be phenomenal and so much more impactful than a sheer glass curtain like 535 mission.

It looks great. Too bad this beauty is mostly hidden.
