I don't know anything more than is out there already.
From what we've heard, they want to run one project into another.
St. Mary's 2022-2025 ish
McGillivray 2025-2028 ish
St. Anne's after that.
Maybe they can get two projects going at once. Hoping so.
This of course comes at the delay of other projects due to lack of funding. Such as 1/16 interchange. Trans Canada twinning. Anything else really.
Only so much money to go around. As we discussed recently. Hopefully the Province can leverage Federal funding more efficiently in the future.
Alberta is in a much tougher position now to build new major substantial projects like ring roads for billions of dollars. In the boom years, you bet. They're having trouble, although being successful, in getting funding organized for other projects such as LRT extensions. They leverage the feds much better though.
