Both are observations. The girth of the columns are awesome. The interior locations are not. City Centre in Calgary had the same setup and I said the same about it. I'm sure it's fine. My perspective is as an occasional contract worker for the banks in Toronto and also as a furniture contractor. They would hate this arrangement.

Nothing is sadder than those that feel compelled to defend tall towers for no reason.

^ The engineering required of the foundations probably had a lot to do with that dictating that layout.

I was very impressed with how Kelly-Ramsey managed to build such massive uninterrupted floorplates using angled support columns from the foundation up to the tower levels and post-tensioning the floor slabs, but that's probably not always practical or feasible for a number of reasons.

I wasn't even being that critical of your observation. I just wanted to channel my inner Donald Trump.

Whose buildings are architecturally shit, in my opinion, I may add.

It's a good height. In fact the second floor is a really good height as well. I thought office above but, now I'm thinking retail. LOL, so much for the placement of the columns.

We don't get enough Massey Tower updates. Really, I do go to the Eaton Centre at least once a week, I should take some pictures. But I'm lazy.

I presume a new ramp will be constructed before this one is mothballed.
