Thanks for the pictures, but are you trying to run your insane post count up even further or something?

New York, One World Trade Center by Daniel Šťástka, on Flickr

After seeing this building go up, I can honestly say I'm a fan of Mr. Maki's work. So elegant, and yet minimalist at the same time.

At first I thought this was a very bland design but when I saw it in person, I can't say how much I was in awe of how well it turned out. I encourage anyone to go look at this building on the side facing the WFC, it just looks amazing. It blends into the sky and it doesn't look as fat as one would expect.

Has base cladding progressed any more? I see white supports in the last picture...

Worker Injured in Fall From Ladder At World Trade Center Site

Read more: http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/2012...#ixzz2CDyDFVoE

Quote:
FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A construction worker may have broken his leg when he fell 10 feet from a ladder at 4 World Trade Center, an FDNY spokesman said.
Just after 9 a.m., emergency medical crews responded to Liberty St. and Trinity Pl., at the southeast side of the center, fire officials said.
Witnesses said the man was awake and talking.
The worker was transported to New York Downtown Hospital, officials said.
This is the latest in a slew of construction accidents over the past year that have plagued the World Trade Center site, including another injured worker, a fire and a crane which swung free and shattered some windows.

^ I think that picture answers your question

A few more pics that I took on Sunday, November 11, 2012. I like that you can see 1 WTC's reflection on 4 WTC in these pics.

It looks like you had perfect weather with a clear blue sky (and that is evident in the quality of your excellent photos) !!

What a coincidence; the base podium of the new 4WTC closely resembles the old 4WTC.
