It will be interesting to see how much the completion of this development will add to ridership through the station. Apparently Marine Gateway added between 2000 and 2500 boardings to Marine Drive station.

Surprised that Metrotown isn't in the top 5.

Metrotown is at number 5 overall - that was only the top 5 Millennium Line stations. The number at the beginning says where each of those stations are in the overall list (of 53 stations).

Amazon already owns the Whole Foods just across the street.

Does anybody know how long this project is delayed? I heard from a source that it is delayed one year... not sure if there is any truth to this? I am wondering if it is just the residential portion that is delayed or the mall as well?

Because I bought here, I've been following it super closely. From what was originally promised at the pre-sale stage, the delay will have been somewhere in the 18-24 month range. This is for both the mall (phase 1) and the first two towers.

the mall was supposed to open Spring 2019 but now it says Fall 2019. think that was in a retail insider article about something else that mentioned Brentwood.

Yea, it sucked but it wasn't a huge deal because I knew with the amount of work they were doing they were never going to be able to deliver on time as promised. No complaints. Plus nowadays delays are the norm and to have something finish on time is very rare.

There were updated end dates and amendments as construction went along, but I do remember in late 2014 at the time I first signed for the unit, Tower 1 and phase 1 of the mall was promised for fall 2017 and tower 2 was promised for spring 2018 LOL.

I bought in at Milano and they managed to stay within the time line in the disclosure. Obviously Brentwood is a much larger project and a lot more difficult to estimate.. I just could't imagine waiting five years...three was long enough lol. It is a really good investment though if you purchased in 2014 just waiting sucks....

Looks like Shape is finally starting to take people's information who are interested in renting the lower 300 units.

The rental web page still says Spring 2019....

With so many 300 new condo rental to start, it is going to affect the rental price and demand of those condo investors in this area, I guess. Does the vacancy penalty tax apply to Burnaby?

Gilmore Place sales open for public with 3% off :-)

The footprint of Tower 3 appears to be smaller than the first two from this angle.
