There is also a building under construction at Wharncliffe and Legendary in front of Bad Boy. Not a very large building, unsure of what is going there. Steel up so far.

Looks like it's gonna be McDonald's.

When I type in the plaza address in the city's permit registry, a whole bunch of permits were issued to them a month ago.

It's been obvious for a while now that we are seeing a large decline in SFH construction in the London area. Report shows nearly 75% decrease for March 2023 vs 2022.

Wastell's Homes has updated their website for their new townhome project called the Willows located immediately north of the Montage townhomes on Callaway Rd.

The site already has utilities installed and could see construction starts at any time now. The site is immediately adjacent to Tricars North Link building 4 location.

The roof steel sheeting is now installed for the new Chick-Fil-A and they are preparing to start building the exterior steel wall studs.

Foundation footings now being formed for another building north of the Timmies on Wonderland Rd in front of the Lowes. The Chick-Fil-A exterior wall framing is over half way installed and should be done soon.

LFP article on the significant slowdown on house building. Many sub divisions that had lots of builds at various stages a year ago have virtually none today.

Sad to see this proposed project in St. Thomas run into funding issues. Hopefully they are able to fund raise enough to start building in phases of 10 homes at a time.

Site prep with utilities now being installed on the block of land just east of the Lowes in Hyde Park at Tokala Trail and Dalmagarry. I believe this is a block of townhouses.

The masonry contractor has started installing the exterior brick veneer on the Chick Fil A restaurant. The other commercial building at SW corner of Bradley and Wonderland is now getting the exterior insulation boards installed.

I would like to also say that we are almost done with the 5 plaza buildings for old oak across from Loews on wonderland south of Bradley. The next 4 plaza buildings in behind the others closer to wharncliffe will start next year. 3-4 more weeks and we should be fully done with the buildings.
