Well, it hasn't been my idea of cold, and it hasn't been freezing. It can also be gloomy in the summertime, but you expect that in these parts, and especially around this time of year. It's been nicer than can be expected, and I guess that also contributes to the speed of development with this tower.

I was thinking about that lighting earlier. Being such a prominent tower, it would look spectacular with some type of effect, maybe a cascading lighting scheme.

What a great vantage point. Considering the obvious speed of this project, hourly updates would also be appreciated! Haha

Yes PLEASE! I'm pretty sure you have the best view in the house, the webcams can be kind of fuzzy at times. We also expect that you confer with construction staff on questions when asked and sneak into the site at night to get up close photos. (Just kidding!)

Well I mean it did snow like two days ago, but really it hasn't been that cold, hopefully all the cement work will get done with flying colors though, thanks for the pic updates everyone.

Hey everyone! As a geek myself, I will be more than happy to provide weekly updates While I haven't done it yet, I'll probably read through all 150+ pages at some point so I'm on board with all of you (and to share in the enjoyment, obviously).

The reason it actually took me so long to reply was because I was trying to find one of the videos I shot while they were blasting. Every day I got to hear three whistles and then KABOOM. Sadly I did not locate them, but I'll see if I can do some better digging later on.

At some point I'll mention you guys on my blog and start posting the weekly pics there, but until then here is a pic from today (Friday). Full Res Image Here

While not much has happened in the last day or so, I'm sure you will pick this apart like one of those "find what's different" games.

NYGUY, did they move that cam, or increase the resolution? That looks different than that camera has looked in the past. Thanks for the updates though. They are appreciated!

The base of the tower has sides of 93' 6", so 28,3 m.

Last edited by Marc from Rotterdam; Jan 19, 2013 at 8:36 PM. Reason: added dimension in feet

Cool. By the way, this is an awesome view.
