Sounds good.
I guess if there was actually a thread for the webcam it would be the construction thread.
Watch TNS, 300 main and hopefully Skycity rise in the skyline.

It's a shame they covered the first two floors with ugly stucco.

Now the ground floor on Donald has cubby holes for having a smoke or sleeping. It's not as good looking as before but it is much more functional. Or dysfunctional.

Not sure what it is but it doesn't look like stucco to me... it looks like they used a decent material even if the effect is still lame.

The windows were restored on the NE corner (Centreventure's offices) and it looks great... I wish they did that the whole way around the building.

Come to think of it, I think there are also windows above the main office lobby entrance on Donald too.

Even repeating the glass at the Shark Club side around the building would be better than the current material.

I would love to see 300 main get finished. The thread cam is great. DO you have a link to where it can be found?

Know what else I would like to see? Peace for this earth, and prosperity to all.

MPI Logo is where a Sr IT managers office use to be when MPI moved in there back in 1980. That whole section of the 9th floor has been redeveloped over the years and is now just cube farm.

As it was a warehouse building the closest that the original interior finishes would be found are on the 4th floor parking level and to a lesser extent the 3rd floor level.

You get to see the full width and height of the floor plan if you park on 4 more than on 3 since the Little Wheels day care took over part of the south section.

I'm so glad the TNS is going to dwarf that big ugly brown box they call "City Place."

Jabroni, people just don't care anymore. The hard work it takes, the time to post the construction cam to the current page. I, I don't know....it really is becoming a lost art. Even though the pay is poor, I will continue to post the cam to the current page...for as long as I am still able

Agree, but it drives me nuts that they allowed the CV and Shark Club windows to look so different, so if eventually they smarten up and restore those levels (as shown in the SHED plan ), they'll have to redo one of them or it'll look dumb.

I actually think it's a beautiful building, they just need to fix the first 2 storeys. make the entrances a little more grand.

Yeah I guess it's not so ugly. It's not bad. I just could not believe the city actually had people form groups like "Save the Eatons" building from demolition. It was so ridiculous. I mean it was only meant to be there for 10 years, before being torn down after WW2 and related with something more visually appealing. The Bay is really nice. If they had been successful, it would have just stood at Portage as this big abandoned building. It would be better if City Place was in an area where it could blend into its surrounding, like closer to the Exchange building or Osborne Village.

wtf City place isn't ugly. At the very least it's no uglier than any other early 20th centure Chicago style mega building that Manhattan is filled with today.

Maybe your revulsion could be put to better use on the Radisson.

It will be interesting to see how the skywalk blends into City Place from TNS from a visual prospective.
